What is so awesome about buying a Handsome bike? We build each one from the frame to order. So that means, you are getting a hand-assembled bike, but it also means that we can have it custom powder coated to the color of your liking before we start the build. If you don't love one of our stock colors, or just want to have a truly unique bike, choose custom as your color option when purchasing any one of our bikes. You do not need to add this item separately if you are purchasing a new Handsome Cycle with the custom color choice. When you purchase a new bike with the custom color option, we will contact you to finish the color choosing process. Learn more about the custom color process below.

DETAILS:

Add the bike model of your choice in the custom color option to your order. This custom color item will automatically be added. When your order comes to us with the Custom Color option, we will contact you to help you find that perfect color. If you wish to see the color options in person, we will mail you a COLOR DECK to keep. You can also see the web version of the chart here:  RAL K1 COLOR CHART

TIMING:

Once you have chosen the color, we send the frame set off to our powder coater. The normal turn-around time is 2-3 weeks. Once we receive your custom color frame set back from the powder coater, we start your build. Generally it only takes us a day or two to complete the bike. If you are not picking-up the bike at the Handsome Studio, expect 1-4 business days shipping within the 48 US. So, total time once you have decided on a color is 3-4 weeks until your customized bike is in your hands.

ALREADY OWN A HANDSOME?:

If you want to get your Handsome re-powder coated in a new color or just refresh your current color, we can definitely help out. If you are in the Twin Cities, contact us to make an appointment. If not give us a call and we can discuss what would be the best way for you to get us your bike. Handsome will cover the labor of stripping all of the parts off your bike, getting it off to powder coating, and then re-assembling your bike. You will just be charged the Custom Powder Coat fee, plus any transportation costs to and from Handsome Studio MPLS.

HAVE A NON-HANDSOME BIKE?:

We can still help you out, and the process is the same, except, there is an additional labor charge of $100 to prepare the frameset for paint, and to reassemble it once it is refinished. Normal powder coat fee and transportation fees apply.
